Die Springs are used primarily in die machinery. However, they are also well-suited for many applications where high-static or shock-load stresses are required, or when maximum cycle-life is important. Rectangular wire is employed to reduce the solid height and increase the space efficiency of the design.
JIS Die Spring are available in metric sizes from 6 to 60 mm in diameter up to 300 mm in length. Our JIS Die Springs meet the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) for die springs. JIS Die Springs are manufactured to industry standard colors of yellow, blue, red, brown, and green. Five load ratings are available from extra light load to extra heavy load. The JIS Die Springs are available in small boxed quantities for your convenience. A complete selection is available in stock.
JIS Yellow Spring is extra light load, yellow color coded, used in plastic mold. Its maximum deflection is 58% of free length.
